HOW TO USE NS SERIES ER-49:

1.

2. 3.

After harvest, scrape remaining unoxidized accumulated bottom sludge to the minimum. Flush the pond with water. Sun-dry the soil until it cracks to release trapped toxic gases, like ammonia, methane, hydrogen sulfide.
4. 5. 6.
Check soil pH and apply lime in accordance to pH adjustment requirements. Till or turn soil and mix the lime with the soil (check pH and reapply lime if needed). Pump in water to 30 cm. depth.
7. 8. 9.
Activate ER-49 by soaking recommended dosage in five (5) gals of water for four (4) hrs with occasional stirring (once every 15 min.) or use an aquarium aeration pump with air stone for 4 hrs. Apply slurry by covering as much area as possible. Apply more of the slurry on pond bottom drainage canals (center or side drains) . Let stand for at least a week, then flush pond again if there is a need to do so.

During dry season, crack-drying of pond bottom soil may be done before application of NS Series ER-49. Above procedure is only a general recommended procedure. Should you wish to use NS ER -49, contact our technical representatives for an on-site ocular inspection of your ponds prior to the application of NS Series ER-49.
