IMPORTANCE OF LIPID SUPPLEMENT

The fact that prawns, shellfish and finfish require adequate amounts of lipids for proper growth is well documented. Commercial feed formulations do not contain sufficient amounts of lipids because lipids shorten the storage life of the feed. Thus lipids must be supplemented.

WHAT IS NUTRI-OIL

Nutri-Oil is a natural lipid-based formulation and serves a source of energy for prawns, shellfish and finfish during their larval development, metamorphosis and growth.

BENEFITS

	Nutri-Oil improves the nutritive value of live food organisms (i.e. rotifiers and artemia) for larval rearing of prawns and fish during the hatchery and nursery stages.
	Nutri-Oil provides the required lipid intake of juvenile and adult prawns and finfish in the grow out stages.
	Highly digestible and palatable, Nutri-Oil provides EPA, DHA and ω 3 (HUFA), the essential fatty acid requirements of prawn and fish growth.

NUTRITIVE VALUE

The presence of vitamins A, C, D and E in NUTRI-OIL makes it the indispensable dietary supplement for prawns and fishes. Vitamins A, C and E increase their stress tolerance and resistance to various diseases. Vitamin D with calcium and phosphorous in the feeds ensure proper shell formations in prawns. Cholesterol in Nutri-Oil will result in better molting of prawns. As a feed supplement, Nutri-Oil will help in the binding, coating and preservation of nutrients of dissolving and leaching in water.

HOW TO USE

HATCHERY/NURSERY:

Vigorously shake 50 mi. of Nutri-Oil in 200 mi. of water until well emulsified. Add solution to one (1) ton of rotifiers or artemia six (6) hours prior to feeding.

GROW OUTS

Apply one (1) gram of Nutri-Oil per kg. of pellet feed thirty (30) minutes prior to feeding.
