Grease, Oils & Fats

 

NS Series GR - Grease, being insoluble in water and with very slow rate of degradation, low specific gravity and high melting point, fats, oils and greases float and solidify in drainage systems often completely clogging waste flow. Conventional cleaning and plumbing methods are troublesome and costly, NS Series GR offers an effective alternative.

NS Series GR - Greaseless is a scientifically blended concentration of selected, adapted and cultured bacterial formulations plus enzymes and special buffers that are designed to degrade protein complex wastes, oil and grease, aromatics in wastewater emanating from the following: sinks, drainage system, pipes, grease traps and toilet bowls.

 OPTIMUM CONDITIONS: 

Bacteria and enzymes in NS Series GR perform within a pH range of 6.0 to 9.0 with the optimum near pH 7.5. Temperature affects the activity of the working solution and action increases with rising temperature of 45 C to 65 C on a large variety of proteins carbohydrates, lipids, alcohols, and organic acids (from butter, sour milk. salts, grapes, fruit juices, lards and vegetable oils). Please see graph below.


 STORAGE & HANDLING: 

     

Store in cool dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Avoid direct inhalation. Wash hands with warm after handling.


 DOSAGE & APPLICATION: 

1.    Treat at period of lowest flow.

2.    Always presoak in tap water for 4 hours.

3.    Use at least I cup of water per tbsp. or tsp.

4.    Use at least 1 gallon of water for each 200 grams.

B. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: (2ND WEEK ONWARDS)

Same dosage as shown above but on once-a-week treatment schedule. This dosage may he  increased to once every 3 days if situation warrants increase in dosage frequency.


 IMPORTANT: 

For completely clogged drains or pipes, create a flow by mechanical means before application of NS Series GR.

For multi-storey buildings, treatment must start at the lowest level and continue from floor to to to floor upwards.

If chemicals like muriatic acid, and disinfectants have been used, flush first with water before before application of NS Series GR - Greaseless.
